Marital property is any property purchased during the marriage (i.e., before divorce). Purchasing any real or personal (cars, furniture, etc.,) property during the separation is always dangerous.
Just because the property is in your name only doesn’t mean that a judge won’t order the property sold, or that you move out and your Ex and children move in.
